Ker Urquiza Hotel & Suites

We keep choosing Ker Urquiza because everything is simple, nice, and clean, and the reception staff are consistently professional and friendly. This time, though, breakfast was frustrating. With at least 10 or 12 people still eating and half an hour before closing, the person who usually refills the food started putting everything away, coffee included. We had to rush, and when we asked, he replied very disrespectfully that we should read the signs. Aside from that incident, the service is always professional and customer-oriented.

Please do not book this hotel. The rooms we were given were dirty, with cockroaches, stains on the bed, and blood on the sheets. They failed to meet even basic hygiene standards. We politely asked for a refund through the booking platform. The hotel said they would refund us, but never did, and they lied to the platform. This happened on 06/03/2025.

The area is very good, with supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance, and the subway station just one block away. My room was very good and had a fridge and microwave. The shower was the one problem: the hot water didn’t work properly during the 7:00 am rush.

I’d give this place three stars at most. The hotel was dirty, and the cleaning staff weren’t doing their job. On the treadmill, you could see wet drops left by the person who used it before. Breakfast barely qualifies as breakfast: the same peach jam every day, no variety, no cheese, and no eggs. Using the key card to turn on the room’s power made a loud chain-like sound that could wake the neighbor. Changing the air-conditioning temperature made the same noise.
