La Posada Hotel

The heated pool was a real treat, and breakfast was good. But during our eight days in a quadruple room, the windows made it hard to sleep. Neither the fabric curtain nor the wooden one kept out the sunlight, so by 6:00 a.m. the room was bright and we were awake. Wind rattled the window constantly, and we had to wedge in cardboard to stop it moving. Bring an eye mask and you’ll be fine, but it wasn’t ideal.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rates are good, and breakfast is simple but tasty. The rooms are comfortable, though not especially modern. It’s central and a great base for enjoying the beach and sea, with the heated pool as a big bonus. I always come back.

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay in February 2026 in a double room facing the courtyard. The facilities are lovely and breakfast is delicious. Valeria, Erica, and the rest of the staff deserve a special mention for being so attentive and making us feel right at home. Such a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll be back!

For several days, young people parked their cars on the side street at 6 in the morning with their speakers blasting. The hotel once again did nothing to protect its guests’ rest. During our last stay, which was almost a whole month, it was impossible to relax: a huge family shouted, ran around, and played music from early morning until the middle of the night. Some of them rented apartments next door at Amura, but used “our” pool and our parking spaces. The hotel seems to have no rules about anything or quiet hours. Returning would be a real risk when respect for other guests seems to matter so little. We’d been coming for many years. In response to the claim that my comment is false: I stayed in summer 2019, when Mr Julio was still there and was the only one who brought a little order, then in summers 2020, 2021, and every year through 2024, when things were truly out of control. If you like, we can continue privately using my full name and details of all my reservations. What a shame.
