Hotel city

It was okay.

The parking is available, though narrow enough that you need to maneuver carefully. The hotel is very well placed, directly across from the main square and one block from the shopping center. The room is fine, with the look of an old building that's had a facelift. Breakfast was okay, about what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel, though nothing special. My main complaint was the lack of hot water. Reception said we just had to wait, and it took 15 minutes to heat up even with the water running. There also wasn't a coffee maker, electric kettle, cups, or welcome tea or coffee in the room. Those are small things, but they add up.

After 15 years in Argentina and around a hundred hotels, this was the worst service I've experienced. I booked through Booking for 11/01 and arrived late in the afternoon with my wife, tired and on our motorcycle. The attendant was extremely rude and insisted I pay by credit card. Then he also demanded the card number so he could keep it on record, saying that was the only way to give me a tourist discount. I refused and left. I'd stay well away from this hotel.

The location is good, and breakfast was good too. The rooms, though, are really noisy. There's a bar behind the hotel, and you can hear everything from it whether the window is open or shut. You can also hear people going down the stairs. The internet doesn't work, there was no mini-fridge, and with no parking available we had to leave the car two blocks away.
