Hotel Vanderloo

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Please give Brian a promotion! The rooms are what you'd expect from a 1 star hotel, but they were clean and fine to sleep in.

Reception was good, but the hotel felt more like a place for tourists, and I'd give it 2 stars. It's outside the city center. My room was small, the bathroom was tiny and got wet everywhere, and the air conditioning didn't work well. Breakfast cost extra and was very basic.

A disaster. The rooms are small, breakfast is poor, and there's no elevator. The staff are very friendly, but there's only so much they can do. Don't go.

I went with my mother and sister, and this was my first time in Posadas, driving myself. I asked for somewhere cheap and comfortable and found exactly that, plus a lot more than I expected. It felt like a steal. The service and treatment were excellent, everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was quiet, and we had no discomfort or problems. The room was clearly very clean as soon as we walked in, and it had everything we needed: internet, television, and air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing. There were chipa balls with enough cheese to fill you up, coffee, cocido (a type of Paraguayan tea), fresh natural juices, cream cheese, quality butter, jams, dulce de leche, toasted bread, and more. THANK YOU PS: I'm sure you'll remember me. My little sister, my mother, and I ordered a batch of chipitas and arrived in my blue Vitz, with cameras. Another girl staying there was going to the same "cosplay" event. I think it was about 3 years ago, as of today, Sunday, August 3, 2025.
