The food at dinner on our first night was okay. I especially liked the spinach vegetable empanadas, which reminded me of an Argentine take on spanikopeda. The local fish, Pacu, was a fleshy white river fish with very thick skin, and it was okay. The chimichurri was delicious on the fish, and the apple cake was pretty good too. The hotel isn't close to much beyond the 3 borders area, and downtown is about a mile away. I was here for two nights with a tour group. My room was spacious and clean, and the bed was okay, but the hotel was noisy. I could hear outside sounds, including loud music at 12:15 am, noise from the lobby, including a family around 10:30 pm, and my neighbor's wake-up alarm very clearly. On the second morning my key stopped working after breakfast, so the front desk reset it. That was annoying. This definitely isn't a five-star hotel. Whoever gave it that rating hasn't stayed at a five-star place. I'd call it three stars, which seems accurate.

It has the facilities you'd expect at a resort, including a really nice outdoor pool and an indoor pool with a jacuzzi. The hotel looks great.

The pool and spa are fine, and the staff are friendly and nice. The hall is very attractive, but the rooms feel a bit old and need refurbishment before this could be called a five-star hotel.

The room was in incredibly poor shape, with pieces of wall broken off and wood badly chipped. The balcony door wouldn't open, the shampoo holder had broken, the air conditioning was primitive, and the TV picture quality was horrendous. Even the room key was unreliable: we had to try several times to unlock the door, and by the next day it wouldn't work at all. I had to go to reception several times to have it reset. This is the worst five-star hotel. It looks as if it hasn't been renovated since it was built. I have nothing nice to say about this place.

The pool area is beautiful and the location is perfect. As always, the service and the people at the hotel were excellent, so nice and kind. I recommend this hotel.
