Arami Hotel Lodge

The pool was nice after a long day of walking, and the staff were very helpful, though there was only so much they could do. The internet was unreliable, and the power kept cutting in and out, which made the AC stop working. It wouldn’t reset. Using a credit card also came with a very poor exchange rate.

Being close to downtown is a plus, and the rooms are okay. Breakfast is pretty basic, with no hot food or eggs, though there’s a nice selection of fruit. The Wi-Fi is slow and coverage is patchy. I can’t compare it with other hotels in Iguazú since I haven’t stayed at them, but against other places I’ve visited, this feels average.

Gabriel at the front desk and his partner were outstanding. They were so helpful and made our stay memorable. Breakfast could use some additions, like eggs, non-pork meat, a better cereal selection, and multigrain bread.

The suite is spread over three levels and sleeps five, and there’s a nice pool. Excursions are easy to arrange through the good connections here. Bring mosquito spray or citronella, since there were mosquitoes around. The Wi-Fi can be temperamental and a bit slow, and there’s no laundry service on site.
