Ronco and Lupe are the stars here! They’re the sweetest dog and cat duo and make you feel so loved. Lupe seems picky about food, but Ronco is happy with any treats he gets! The location is far from the city center, though being in a local area gave me a better sense of how people live, and there are several supermarkets nearby. Avoid Americam, which has tourist prices. This is more like a self-service Airbnb. The cabins are very comfortable; I was on my own, but there were two bedrooms and each cabin could easily fit four people. The bus stop is about a five minute walk away, and all the buses go through there, whether you’re heading to the waterfalls on the Argentina or Brasil side, or into town. The hosts aren’t around consistently, but they’re available on WhatsApp and respond quickly.

The place is excellent, with two air-conditioned bedrooms and a handy spot close to Foz and Paraguay. Just allow extra time to get through Aduana when crossing. One tip: try not to come during holidays!

We had everything we needed in the cabins, and the beds were really comfortable. The shower was great too. They’re conveniently placed near the main access road, big tourist sights, and a gas station. The owners were friendly and quick to answer all our questions.

I’d recommend these cabins. They’re a good base for several tourist spots around Iguazú, and inside they’re nicely designed and decorated, with air conditioning throughout. The owners handle the service themselves and do a quality job, making for a comfortable stay.

Being able to come and go on our own schedule made the stay for me. We had our own keys and no fixed hours, so once I’d settled in, I could enjoy the independence. They were around only when I needed something. The location is excellent too, a few blocks from the road to the falls and close to the other tourist attractions.
