Harsha Petit Hotel Holistico

The shower was really nice, and the body gel, shampoo, and conditioner smelled great. WiFi worked well, and breakfast was good, though there wasn't much variety in the protein options. The property is new to the Marriott portfolio and sits in a quiet area, about a 10-minute walk from the pedestrian area with restaurants, music, and bars. A few things could be better: the bed only had one sheet for a blanket, and room 314 has leaky windows in heavy rain. This has been reported, but avoid leaving anything beneath them just in case. The AC smelled moldy when turned to a higher temperature, and there were a few sugar ants.

The rooftop pool was nice, and town is about a 10-minute walk away. Rooms were spacious enough and comfortable, with air conditioning. Breakfast was lousy, just fruit, bread, and cakes, with no protein or eggs. The restaurant was average. The pizza came on what seemed like a store-bought base.

The breakfast buffet was consistently decent, though traditional. The pool looked dated but had a nice view. The hotel itself is dated, even though the location is good. They didn't provide bottled water at check-in, and no one mentioned my Marriott status.

The breakfast was surprisingly good, better than most Marriott breakfasts I've had in the US or Canada. In this small town, it's probably one of the better hotel options, though the property is very run down and at the low end of Marriott's range. I wish they'd cleaned the walls. The elevators smelled like cigarette smoke, and the ceilings and curtains were moldy.
