Nativa Lugar Natural

Santi was really nice, but there didn't seem to be any organization or hygiene at the place. We arrived in the evening, and the road was in very bad shape. The taxi didn't want to come pick us up because the road seemed dangerous. Our cabin was dusty enough that it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks, and the bathroom was so dirty we couldn't even shower. The price wasn't cheap, so we were really upset. Even though it was late at night, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to stay. I'm really sorry, because I'd been so excited to explore the nature around there.

After a week here, I feel nourished in both body and soul. I spent a lot of time barefoot, joined ceremonies, did yoga, danced, and played music around bonfires. I also made some profound connections. The space is in the jungle beside a river where you can swim, and the people here were incredible. The host is lovely and treats you like a friend, always ready to help. The rooms and bathroom are cleaned, there's wifi, and my room had AC, which mattered to me. You can get here by taxi or bus. As a European, I would've liked a bit more comfort, but the friendship, love, conversations, music, fires, other lovely guests, and the surrounding nature meant more. The place feels perfectly in harmony with nature. Go see for yourself!

There's lots of nature and good energy here, and I hope the place can develop further. But it felt way too expensive: 800 pesos a night for one bed and a shared, unclean toilet. It's really far away, and going back and forth to the city costs 50 pesos. None of the things listed on Booking or Hostelword were available, including breakfast, organized activities, and natural food. Good luck!
