Passaro Suites Hotel

It’s a small, nice place within walking distance of the town center. Breakfast was satisfying, though there wasn’t much variety. We had only boiling hot water in the shower, but the staff kindly moved us to a room where it worked. Unfortunately, that room had a clogged toilet.

The pool looked muddy and dirty, so we didn’t risk getting in. Breakfast was very basic: the milk tasted bad, and the bread was old sandwich bread with no toaster available. At check-in, we found dirty pillowcases and had to ask for clean ones. The room was large but nothing fancy, and there was no soap in the bathroom. The staff never told us to leave the key at reception when we went out, so the room wasn’t cleaned and we didn’t get fresh towels. On the second day we returned from Iguazu falls sweaty and humid, but there was no running water at the hotel. It still wasn’t working the next morning when we had an early tour, so we had to leave without showering. Internet didn’t work during any of the four days we stayed. This was the worst place we’d stayed since starting our trip through SouthAmerica in September. It definitely isn’t a 3 stars hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

The people were really nice, the rooms were great, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was a little incomplete, but delicious all the same.

The staff were very friendly and it’s a good hotel. The hot water wasn’t working, but all in all, it was a nice place to stay.
