The location is good, and Leo’s hospitality is incredible. He’s very friendly and, if you ask, will drive you wherever you need to go for about the same as a taxi, or possibly less. Beyond that, the room and facilities are below average. It’s like a boiler room for the first hour, though once you turn on the AC it cools down by later in the evening and can even feel chilly in the morning. The toilet flush is a coat hanger, the shower has no curtain and leaks, and there’s no Wifi.

The owners were friendly, but this place needs attention. The double bed mattress had springs practically coming through the fabric, and I killed two cockroaches in the bathroom. Even the towels were nearly see-through. They should invest in improvements or charge less.

The grounds are lovely and very green, but inside the rooms it was dirty in every corner. I stayed Monday through Thursday and they didn’t clean the room or change the white bedding and towels once. I’d been told breakfast was included, then found out it wasn’t. Only once did the owner go out to get something, saying I could give him 100 pesos (2.75 dollars) and he’d buy pastries and make me breakfast. The price is very cheap, almost like a hostel, so it might be bearable if you’re traveling alone and don’t want a shared hostel. It’s a shame, because you can see they’ve put effort into the place, but it lacks dedication, especially when it comes to cleanliness. Forgettable. Greetings.

The staff are very friendly, and the location is good, with places to eat nearby. But the water goes off, and when it comes back it’s cold. The bathroom gets soaked, and the drain is too high for the water to run away. The sheets, curtains, pillows, and everything else were very dirty. On a happier note, the dog is called Renato Augusto and he’s really cute 😂

We ended up enduring the place because we couldn’t find anything else, but there was nothing good about the stay. The owners yelled at all hours, and the room was awful: damp, smelling like a bathroom, with a broken fridge, disastrous beds, wastewater in the bathroom, and only a cold trickle of water. We had to fix the bathroom light ourselves because nobody had told us it didn’t work. Other guests said they had the same problems, so apparently all the rooms are like this. The website photos and advertised details are lies. We managed to find somewhere else on the last day. It was expensive too, since the other place cost the same and included breakfast and impeccable cleanliness. Awful. It reflects very badly on the municipality of Puerto Iguazú’s oversight.
