Dazzler by Wyndham Puerto Madryn

Had a great stay at the dazzler hotel! The air conditioning was a must on those hot summer nights. My only suggestion is to have more ports in options at breakfast.

Juliette was the standout at the hotel. She was friendly, very helpful, and knew a lot, and really did her best to help us. The restaurant staff in the evenings were lovely too, and the dinners were very good, with hotel guests getting 20% off. Our room was a comfortable size and centrally located, with a beach view. But the beds weren't great, and the other furniture didn't feel good for one's health. The shower was barely functional. Our window wouldn't close properly, so sleeping in the strong wind, which is common here, was difficult. Someone came to fix it with tape. The curtains also didn't close properly, and since the rooms face north, we woke up early. Breakfast was basic and never changed, and after a few days it became inedible. The hours seemed set for the hotel's convenience rather than guests', ending at 10:30 even on New Year's day. There's nothing between breakfast and lunch, and having coffee available would be useful, especially in the rain or while waiting. Cleaning quality depended on who did it. Reception was similar: some people were friendly and helpful, while others couldn't be bothered to greet us. We asked for a late checkout because our flight to Buenos Aires was quite late, and had to pay US$ 80, more than half a night's rate. Given all this, we don't think the stated 4-star rating is deserved. At best, we'd call it a 3. If we return to Porto Madryn, we'd look for somewhere else.

We spent three days here for our honeymoon. It's a lovely 4-star hotel in a central area, with a nice sea view. The staff were helpful and the beds comfortable. Breakfast didn't offer many options, but it was handy for picking up something before heading out. Would definitely recommend!

It's right on the shore, which is ideal, though there aren't many facilities. The bar across the road behind the hotel played very loud music, and it got frustrating. If you can, ask for a room at the front.
