The streets are clean, and the beach is nearby.

The shared areas were covered in urine, and there was excrement in the parking lot because pets are allowed but there’s no designated place for them to relieve themselves. We also had a barbecue where we had to keep some dogs away from the meat. Accepting pets is fine, but the owners need to plan where they stay and where they go to the bathroom. Without air conditioning, we opened the windows at night, and a cat came in. It scared us. This place seems better suited to young people looking for fun than families. The rooms are tiny, only 1.5 to 1.8 meters wide, with bunk beds that have no railings and are high up, which felt very dangerous.

The bungalows are comfortable, with a good-pressure shower, and there’s breakfast and a barbecue area. It’s only two blocks from the beach, and the place is pet-friendly. The internet was good enough for video calls and teaching classes. Service was spectacular: they let me check in a bit early and leave after the official checkout time without any trouble. I’ll definitely return when I’m in Madryn.

The mattresses really need replacing, but the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and always ready to share information about the city. It’s far from the centre, though the distance is walkable, and I’d recommend having a car. The cottages are basic and nothing fancy, but they have what you need. There’s a lovely barbecue area with a grill and oven, plus a playground for children.
