Puerto piramides is such a great place, and I found it much more pleasant than big Puerto Madryn. Our room was comfortable and came with a private bathroom, mini fridge, kettle and everything we needed, plus there was a nice little courtyard. You can cook here too, and there's a bbq. The host was kind and helpful, always replying quickly and sharing advice about the area.

Our room was super comfortable, and the owner gave us lots of useful tips about the area. El Refugio Pirámides is ideally located, within walking distance of everywhere. Loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

We stayed in Puerto Piramides for four nights and went back to this restaurant twice. The food was great, the owner is lovely, and the fun, quirky decorations made the place enjoyable.

The marine wildlife on Peninsula Valdez is simply mind blowing. For somewhere to stay, Hostería El Refugio is quiet and simple, with comfortable rooms and a slightly quirky setup. It’s close to the centre, convenient and good value. The owner, Kako, really made us feel welcome. He was kind, helpful, generous and knew a lot about the area, and shared plenty of useful information.

Kako and his family are so warm and friendly. Staying here meant more than just having a place to sleep, we made friends and had an experience we'll remember for the rest of our lives. I loved it, truly recommend!
