The Paradise

We loved staying there. The service was perfect, with the staff always checking that we were doing well, and the rooms are super comfortable. The beef at the restaurant inside was fantastic. We stayed there once four years ago, came back now, and made a point of booking the same hotel again. Tudo perfeito.

The prices were higher than at other places that serve better food, and I really can’t recommend it. Their so-called “catch of the day” salmon had almost no flavor, the potatoes seemed to have been reheated badly, and the bread was stale.

We had lunch there yesterday, and both the food and service were excellent. It’s a beautiful place with very good facilities. Don’t let the reviews put you off, they don’t know what they’re missing. Prices are about the same as elsewhere in Puerto Pirámides.

The prices were exorbitant for what we got, and I’d never go back. Dinner was a terrible experience. We were told the glass of wine we ordered was reserve, but when we asked to see the bottle, it turned out to be boxed wine. The “catch of the day” was bland and had way too much garlic, with fries and vegetables that seemed clearly frozen and boiled, and had no flavor. When we told the manager what we thought, he defended the food instead of taking the criticism, saying they couldn’t season dishes for “health reasons.” Very disappointing.
