We were a group of runners in town for the Huellas del Paraná race and stayed just one night. I wouldn’t come back even if it were free. The pool they advertise was closed, and they hadn’t mentioned that when we booked. The rooms were old and poorly looked after. The bathroom was neglected and falling apart, with a shelf so disgusting I didn’t want to put anything on it. The shower was impossible to adjust, either freezing or scalding. Cleanliness was awful too: one teammate found a cockroach while sleeping, another found a tick, there was hair in the bathrooms, and dust on the sheets and blankets made your whole body itch. When we travel for races, places usually help by serving breakfast earlier or at least providing hot water and coffee in the morning. Here, they showed no willingness to accommodate us. We were quoted $110,000 per night, then charged another $1,500 on arrival without an explanation. It’s not a huge amount, but it says a lot about how unprofessional the place is.

The receptionist was warm, attentive, and helpful. The room also had good water pressure, a comfortable mattress and pillows, and clean sheets. But my teammates and I had enough problems that the price didn’t feel worth it. I was staying for a race in Puerto Rico. Someone at the hotel had given me the wrong check-in and check-out times, so I had to pay for an extra half day, and they wouldn’t admit the mistake. My room was very small, with no closet or place to put bags. The bedspread was dirty, the bathroom door wouldn’t close, ventilation was poor, and Wi-Fi was unreliable both inside the rooms and sometimes outside. My teammates had room issues too, and we all felt the value for the price was bad.

It was a great experience, with very good service. The rooms are comfortable, and the quiet is hard to beat. A lovely place to relax and unwind by the pool.

Surrounded by plants and trees, this is a beautiful spot to relax and switch off. I loved the rooms, they were nice, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast is included too 💕 😍
