Pirca del Abuelo II

We loved unwinding on the porch in front of our room, especially at sunset, with that incredible view of Cerro Colorado. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff were attentive. It's about 1 km from the center of Purmamarca, so having a car makes this a great choice.

The room was comfortable, the internet was good, and the shower had a good temperature. With that incredible view, it could be a nice place to relax and disconnect. But the service was terrible. There was nothing nearby, and the hotel had nothing to offer if we wanted something refreshing. It took three days to get ice, and breakfast was awful, barely anything and poor quality. The staff seemed unmotivated and did little to make us comfortable. I even had to remind them that we needed to pay because they hadn't coordinated it themselves.

We stayed at Pirca, and both it and Samaywasi seemed impeccable. They're two hotels run by the same family, sharing the reception, common areas, lobby and breakfast room, along with the peaceful atmosphere and wonderful views. We were happy to wake up facing Cerro Colorado. The rooms, breakfast, reception and service were all impeccable, and it's a lovely private place to escape the noise of Purma. The center is 10 blocks away if you're on foot, in case that's useful. I'd go back tomorrow, don't miss it!

It was so quiet that we slept really well, and the mattresses were excellent quality. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, too. We could see the mountain from the window, and whenever I needed something from the kitchen, I just asked the owner and he brought it over without a problem. Everything was amazing, highly recommended!
