The staff were friendly, and the hot water problem has been fixed. The place is clearly new and in a good location. Still, the Wi-Fi doesn't reach the rooms, which is one of the reasons I pick a hotel. Breakfast comes the night before; fresh bread would be nice, and the tea basket hadn't been refilled.

The sheets had already been used, the place wasn't clean, and my bathroom flooded. The shower water was dangerously hot. The entrance is a completely dark hallway, and there's no concierge to deal with problems. I don't recommend it.

Carlos, the owner, and Miriam, his assistant, are lovely people, and so is the cleaning staff. Their kindness more than makes up for a few small shortcomings. The place could use some basic cleaning supplies, and the Wi-Fi signal is very weak. Still, the service is excellent and the accommodation is beautiful, as is Salta. It's in a great spot: two and a half blocks from Plaza 9 de Julio, the Cathedral, Cabildo, and the Museum, and about six and a half blocks from the Convent of San Francisco. La Balcarce, with its clubs, is just a few meters away, and there's a supermarket around the corner. The little issues fade into the background because of the people. In them, I see my beautiful, beloved Salta. Salta is its people. Viva Salta, seriously, it's a dream come true!

The room wasn’t clean, and there was a strong cigarette-butt smell in the inner courtyard, as if someone had been smoking. Since this is an aparthotel, the kitchen should have a bin or some other way to dispose of rubbish. The location is good, but that didn’t make up for these issues.
