The dorms and bathrooms at Coloria were good, and breakfast was okay, but my stay last year was awful. They booked me for three nights, then forgot to reserve the second night, so I had to move to another hostel after the first night and move back for the third. That alone would have been manageable, but some staff were really unpleasant when I booked tours and needed their help. I changed hostels afterward. The other place was less comfortable, but the staff were wonderful. I hope the staff here are nicer now.

The staff were nice, the location was good, and breakfast was standard. Sound carries through the building, though, so it can get noisy at night. Breakfast starts at 7, and the radio comes on then too, so sleeping in is tough if your room looks onto the common area.

The staff were professional and helpful, and the facilities were clean. Breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hostel. We also had a good group of guests while we were there, and people respected the quiet hours.

I liked how guests gathered in the main room and got to know each other. The hostel rules were just basic courtesy toward everyone, which made the place feel more like home than a hotel. The Naranja room was a little awkward because light came in from the hallway, but breakfast was good, and we really enjoyed our stay at hostel coloria.

So far, this is the best hostel I’ve stayed in across South America. It’s clean, has a great communal area and a pool, and the staff are friendly.
