A very affordable hostel in Salta, and I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and there was a nice cat. Taking off a star because none of the toilets ever had soap.

Marcelo was a really friendly owner, and we enjoyed chatting with him despite our poor Spanish. He was attentive and gave us useful advice for exploring the region. The hostel is quiet, close to the center, and has a nice patio that seems rare in Salta. It's great value, with everything you need, including a kitchen for cooking and breakfast.

Marcelo was lovely and shared tips on things to do around the city. After we'd left, he even gave us his number in case we needed help. The rooms were great, and the hostel has a lovely garden out back. A very nice place in Salta, I'd definitely recommend it.

The kitchen had all the facilities we needed, and the garden was a lovely place to relax, with fairy lights at night. Marcelo was always around with a big smile or wave. He was so sweet that he let us check in early, then use the room for hours after checkout while we waited for our bus. I'd absolutely recommend staying at Hostal Namaste.
