Good place, I liked it.

A nice place.

A total rip-off. “Hidden Palace” really lives up to its name, because the room we were shown was filthy and had ragged curtains. We booked an apartment through Booking.com, but when we arrived, the owner, Mónica, switched us to a dirty “suite” and had us cancel on Booking.com so we could pay her directly and avoid its commission. It was five nights for $98,000. She said she’d make sure Booking.com wouldn’t charge us for cancelling. I’m taking legal action against her for FRAUD. The bathroom was a disaster, the walls were peeling, and everything smelled musty. The bathroom curtain was dirty and torn, as were the other curtains. To reach the shower, we had to climb three steps with nothing to hold onto, and the shower itself was LIKE STILL IN A POT. That was the last straw. The owner also started telling us what we should do in Salta and the surrounding area as soon as we arrived, as if it were a decree. There were threatening notes left in the room. They didn’t clean on Sunday, and at 6 PM she messaged me on WhatsApp to say there would be no cleaning. I paid for cleaning to be included. A complete disaster. This place isn’t listed with the Salta Tourism Office. It’s all a LIE.

The place is in poor condition. There’s no breakfast or kitchen in the apartments, and you have to arrange shower times because the water and hot water run out quickly. Breakfast and toiletries aren’t included, the towels are torn, and the mattresses are bad. The pool costs extra and isn’t open all year.
