The staff are extremely nice, and breakfast is a solid Argentine spread each morning. Being near Avenida San Martin puts you right in the city, with tourist activities and street food within walking distance. For a one-star hotel, it's pretty good. The rooms aren't fancy, but they're comfortable, with good beds and bathrooms.

The service was good, and the inner courtyard is nice, though there aren't chairs to sit outside. In the room for two, there was no bedside table, just one chair, and some things were broken. There's no air conditioning, only a fan.

We spent three days here with a group of pilgrims visiting Virgen del Cerro. The service was impeccable, friendly, and attentive, especially from the night girl whose name I can't remember. It was clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast. I'd come back.

The rooms were stained and smelled musty, and sheets and towels weren't changed before we left, even when we put them on the floor. To get the TV on, we had to call an attendant. The bathroom had no shampoo or conditioner, or even a glass. At night, three Dobermans barked at us when we came back and intimidated us until the owners came to calm them. Breakfast was bare-bones: one coffee with milk, one biscuit, and one croissant, with no refills. The service was deplorable, and the price was far too high for an "inn." We couldn't leave because they charged for the whole stay on arrival. Horrible. DO NOT GO.

The rooms are average for South America, and about $25 USD a night seemed fair for what they were. The infrastructure is a little dated, but the staff were so helpful and friendly that I'm giving it four stars.
