Medanos Hotel

I had a room with a lovely ocean view. It was spacious and very clean, and they cleaned it every day before noon. We'd head to the beach and come back to find it spotless. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the service was spectacular. Great value for money.

The location was convenient, close to the beach and about a five-minute drive from the center. The room was cleaned daily and the cleaning itself was good. The owners were helpful and accommodating. But the photos online didn't match what we found: the rooms were quite small, with a standing fan and a little TV, and the bathroom was acceptable but poorly maintained. Breakfast didn't offer much variety, although the croissants were very good, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping. The bedding was a real letdown. The sheets and comforters were old, and the single bed's thin sheets kept slipping off. The mattresses looked about 20 years old. Overall, the place seemed poorly maintained. There was apparently a shared terrace with ping-pong tables and a grill, but we didn't feel like going up. We chose the hotel because of its good reviews and pictures, so the reality was disappointing. Trip type: Vacation, Family.

The staff were so friendly and positive, which made the stay lovely. We could get to the beach by simply crossing the street. We left happy and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

The shower had excellent pressure, and breakfast was very generous, with pastries, toast, butter and jam, tea, milk, hot chocolate, and more. My wife, children, and I stayed here, and the family running the hotel were attentive to everything, from breakfast to whatever else we needed. The beachfront location is one of a kind. The only thing I'd add is air conditioning; otherwise, everything was fantastic.
