BEWARE, this isn’t a hotel with several rooms. It has only one cabin, and the advertised phone number doesn’t belong to the owner. We booked through that number, but when we arrived, the owner said there was no reservation. The man using the number never mentioned there was just one cabin and had booked us into a different place, in another cabin far from the river, without telling us. He takes a commission from the deposit. He’s a crook. DO NOT WRITE TO THAT NUMBER.

The cabin is cozy, with a grill and barbecue area, and you can go kayaking. Everything was well maintained and had what we needed for a lovely few days. I especially enjoyed how peaceful the place was, it’s perfect for relaxing.

Right beside the Paraná River, the place has great panoramic views and is surrounded by nature. You can also see the Lajas stone quarry from here. There’s a lovely cabin with air conditioning and a grill, a nice choice for a family weekend.

My partner and I had booked specifically for Lajas del Puerto, but when we arrived in San Ignacio, we were sent somewhere else. The phone number listed doesn’t belong to the owners. I did get to chat with the owners of Lajas del Puerto, though, and they’re very friendly.

The river views and scenery are stunning. The cabin is beautiful, like something from a fairytale, and has everything you need for a wonderful weekend.
