Hotel Regidor

The best things are the location and the fact that you can check in at midnight. It’s okay if you arrive late or are just passing through and need somewhere to sleep, but for the price, you can find better places. This is an old, neglected hotel in poor condition. The rooms smell musty, the linens and pillows are old, the mattresses are worn out, the sink needs fixing, and the closet doors are broken. They find time to reply sarcastically to reviews, but not to address these problems. I wasn’t expecting a five-star hotel or paying for one, but if I’d known it was this run-down, I wouldn’t have brought my family here.

The garage is the only good thing. This place is far too expensive for what it offers. The linens were very old and dirty, the room was tiny, and the water wasn’t hot. It took the air conditioning about an hour to cool the room. Do not stay here, look for another option!

We stayed just one night and found the room comfortable, with a secure garage. Since it’s right in the center, you can hear street noise, so keep that in mind if you’re continuing your journey the next day. I recommend it.

The location is excellent, and I’d recommend the hotel. We’ll be back! The garage was very convenient, and room service was excellent. The place was clean and comfortable, though clearly old, as you can see in the furniture and fixtures. We stayed two nights, and the price was very good, especially since breakfast and the pool weren’t included under the COVID protocols. My three-star rating is because the reception staff on the day and afternoon shifts were unfriendly, very serious, and seemed in a bad mood. The night receptionist was the only one we found pleasant. I think that kind of welcome matters when travelers are away from home.
