The cabin’s location had always been a plus, and after several years of staying there we’d only run into minor cleanliness issues before. This visit was a different story. We arrived to find no one on site to welcome us, since the complex no longer has management there. We had to check in somewhere else and make our own way to the cabin, which was filthy inside. That night, after dinner at around 11 pm, we came back to find the cabin ransacked. My daughters’ savings and a camera were gone. We’d carelessly left them in the car with our bags, and there was no sign of forced entry. I reported what happened right away on WhatsApp and got no reply. The next day we went to the main office to ask for the security camera footage, thinking it would help clarify things. They refused, saying the security company was external. In a serious situation like that, the lack of support was very disappointing.

The park looked awful, nothing like the photos. It was more like a garbage dump, and everything about the superior cabin felt gloomy. The bathrooms were the only redeeming part. The sheets and pillows smelled bad, and the towels were stained and torn. We’d booked for seven people, with an agreement made on WhatsApp before booking that we’d pay less if the seventh person didn’t come. They didn’t honor it. After spending a lot of time and effort complaining, they moved us to a better complex in a cheaper six-person cabin. That cabin was much nicer, but we still lost the money for the seventh guest and weren’t reimbursed for the price difference. We also asked for some compensation, like an extra night, and got no solution. It’s frustrating to spend your supposed relaxing getaway fighting over this. I don’t recommend dealing with the Visionary chain.

The flowers, views, and peaceful family atmosphere made this feel like a fairy tale. I’ve stayed in plenty of cabins, and this is honestly one of the best. The rooms are really spacious, the mattresses are a dream, and the bathrooms are 10/10. The bathtub is spectacular for a bubble bath. I’d go back a thousand times whenever I’m in San Martín.

The kitchen didn’t have enough equipment or utensils for six people, which made the stay uncomfortable. The cabin also looked much more worn and poorly maintained than it did in the photos. The pictures need updating so they show it more realistically.
