My partner and I had an incredible stay at the Rio Hermoso hotel. The landscape and scenery felt like heaven on earth, truly incredible. The hotel was extremely comfortable and very well maintained, and the staff made us feel at home. 10/10.

The food was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating. This wonderful little hotel sits beside a river where you can swim and float downstream, right on the 7 lakes trail. It’s out in the countryside, so be ready to enjoy the wilderness and all that comes with it.

A lovely, romantic place, with very friendly, welcoming staff. The hotel serves a great breakfast, and the lunch and dinner options were delicious. It has only a few rooms, set in the forest beside a stream. The rooms are large and face the stream, and there’s a spacious living room with a fireplace.

The river setting is lovely, and the on-site restaurant has a broad menu and very good food. Breakfast is included, and both the owner and staff are welcoming. Just note that Rio Hermoso is about 20 km from San Martin de los Andes, so download a map before driving there.

The staff and service were wonderful, and the setting is stunning, ideal for a quiet, relaxing stay. Wild horses roam the property, and there’s also the sweetest, most chatty cat to make the place even more memorable.
