Mario, the owner, is a wonderful person, and everyone was so warm and welcoming. The hostel is cosy, clean, and nicely designed, with a timber structure and a pleasant garden for getting some fresh air. It’s right in the centre of San Martin de los Andes, and breakfast is hearty. This was the first hostel where I felt at home. A few things could be adjusted to meet a higher standard, like adding fruit at breakfast and checking the mattresses, but the employees and the people I met made the experience unique.

The beds are comfortable, the staff are friendly and speak English, and the breakfast room feels cosy. There’s a nice garden too. It’s a little way from the main street, but this is a small town, so you can walk everywhere.

The kitchen was fully equipped, and the place was very clean. Staff were really friendly, and it's close to downtown. There's also a back garden.
