It felt like coming home. The family who runs the place is lovely, and we had plenty of freedom while still feeling safe. Laura even let our little girl play with her daughters’ toys.

The owners were so kind that they even sent us videos with tips for exploring San Rafael. We loved the peaceful, relaxed feel and the delicious breakfast. The location worked well whether you have your own transport or not. As a couple, we got everything we’d hoped for from our stay. A wonderful experience!

Breakfast by the crackling fire, looking out at the garden, was such a lovely part of our stay. La Caballeriza is run by its owners and staff, who are incredibly kind and attentive. The charming rooms connect you with the history of the place, and every corner has details, aromas, and flavors that make you feel transported. The staff are so friendly, attentive, and dedicated, and you can tell they enjoy their work. They really want guests to feel welcome. It’s a very quiet spot with a pool, in a neighborhood where you can walk to the main road and shopping area. This was my second stay, and I’m sure I’ll come a third time. For me, it’s a happy, very good place.

There’s a cute little companion who’s always hanging around the garden, ready to play. The garden itself is roomy and green, with lots of spots to sit and enjoy mate, all surrounded by nature and a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, served with lovely color and care. The service is excellent, and the thoughtful details help you feel comfortable. It’s a welcoming place to unwind and disconnect. I’d love to come back soon! 🤗
