Hosteria Pura Vida

The grounds were spectacular and clearly well looked after, and the view from our very comfortable room was beautiful. We only stayed one night before moving on, which left us wishing we could have stayed longer. Fran was a 10/10, helpful with everything. We were very satisfied and grateful.

The place itself is very nice, but Susana's service was deplorable. Breakfast is supposed to be served until 10:00, yet arriving at 9:50 is already too late. There wasn't even a trash bag in the bathroom, and when you ask for something, she hands it over reluctantly and then makes a point of reminding you. She also doesn't like the towels getting dirty, so don't even think about using them. It's owner-run, but the rules don't seem to be followed. You'd expect better service. She should let the employees serve her instead, that would be much better. I don't recommend staying here as things are, and I won't return unless the ownership changes.

Franco, the host, was really friendly. It's a comfortable, peaceful place to unwind, and close to the routes for sightseeing.

The rooms are roomy and very clean, and breakfast was delicious. Franco, the manager, was a big help.
