The man at the desk was unpleasant and couldn’t be bothered to open the gates so I could park there.

The breakfast was pretty poor, with just omelets and toast. Although the old hotel is centrally located, the carpets look ugly. Only one elevator worked, and it made a lot of noise. The TV was out of order, while the centrally located air conditioning ran very quietly.

The location is ideal, and the basic breakfast is acceptable. The rooms are tiny, though, with filthy carpets and cramped showers. Daily cleaning was okay, but they don’t provide shampoo. There’s no heating or air conditioning in the rooms, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work. The elevators can be unreliable: I’d press for the 11th floor and sometimes a different floor would open. Staff were short on the courtesy guests should be able to expect. Amenities and hygiene need work.
