El Monte de los Abuelos

The drive in took some effort, and it wasn't easy to locate, but we'd make it again in a heartbeat. We could leave our motorcycles in the garden, and the rooms were a lovely surprise: clean, with great beds, air conditioning, and hammocks on the terrace. The owners were helpful and very friendly. Dinner can be arranged for an additional charge, and many ingredients are grown locally and organically. We came across the place by chance, but you'll need to book ahead. A wonderful place to arrive, unwind, and relax. I'd definitely return.

The thing that stayed with us most was the care from Itatí, Rosa, and Claudia. We wandered around with them, picked beans, shared delicious food, and left already hoping to return soon. The cabins are simple, but really comfortable and well equipped, right in the Misiones mountains. There's a lovely pool with a grill, a fully stocked kitchen, a vegetable garden, and a viewpoint for sunsets. The little tavern is a cozy place to sit and listen to the nighttime sounds. Such a special place, highly recommend 💕💕💕

What we'll remember most is how Itatí, Rosa, and Martín made our daughter Micaela's fifteenth birthday so meaningful. Itatí found room for us on that special day, and the kindness shown to Micaela felt like a real act of love. We'll always be grateful and won't forget it. The orchard in the Misiones mountains is a one-of-a-kind place to feel close to nature. We spent time in a Paraguayan hammock under the stars, then woke to native birdsong and butterflies. The people who look after the place made us feel at home with extraordinary warmth and care. It's a wonderful way to step away from the busy city.

The thoughtful setup and equipment made for a really lovely stay. The service was warm and attentive to every detail, and hard to beat. A great weekend getaway with family or friends.
