Room service was excellent, and the staff worked together very professionally to make things comfortable. The front desk was first class, too. My room was beautifully appointed, with a great view of the central park and nearby shops.

The pool and gym are lovely, with a great atmosphere for a swim or workout, and the front desk staff were great. Still, breakfast came with an unpleasant surprise. I was told it was included in my room rate, then charged 100 pesos for two scrambled eggs. It seems anything beyond the breads and fruit on the buffet may cost extra, but there was no menu or pricing posted, so the bill was a surprise. A waiter said the egg price had been lowered, though the front desk hadn’t confirmed that, and there didn’t seem to be much communication between reception, breakfast staff, and guests. I wouldn’t order room service again either: the margherita pizza wasn’t made with quality ingredients. The room soundproofing could be better, since each night I could hear some exciting activities from other rooms. There was a general cigarette smell by the entrance, but it cleared up once I reached the elevators.
