Hotel Austral

Spectacular!!!!!!

The best thing about our one-night stay was how close it is to the city center. Check-in runs from 2 PM to 10 PM. The room was very small, with a bed, wardrobe, bedside table, TV, and air conditioning. You have to ask for the remote, and the temperature is fixed at 24°C. Noise carries badly: we could hear doors opening and closing and murmurs from the adjoining rooms, which made it hard to rest. The bathroom was tiny, the shower cramped and uncomfortable, and the curtain kept rubbing against me, so it was better not to use it. The water was freezing, even after we asked twice. Breakfast was a slice of cake with tea, coffee, or coffee with milk. We expected more, and the staff weren't very friendly.

The room was quiet, but the bed dipped in the middle and the pillows barely had any filling. We stayed just one night, and couldn't get hot water for a shower at any point. They first told me to wait because demand was high, but there was still none when I tried again at 11 pm or at 8 in the morning. We're not fussy, we just wanted a hot shower, haha. Breakfast was also a problem: there wasn't room to sit, and all they had was coffee and a slice of cake. The location is great, but I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

It's 3:25 in the morning and the loud music from the nightclub next door is keeping me awake. The hotel itself is great and the location is really good, but I'm leaving very annoyed.
