Never again. There was no real breakfast, despite what the listing led us to expect. They left cups and an electric kettle and called it a “dry breakfast.” When we complained, they said breakfast wasn’t offered to Booking guests, though a girl who hadn’t booked through Booking didn’t get any either. We were told different things about the towels, such as that they were out of stock or hadn’t dried, and they weren’t changed. We were alone in the hostel, and there were no towels left at all. They were dirty. The hostel also felt dangerous. I was there alone with an 11-year-old girl, and there was never anyone around keeping an eye on the place. A man was hosted for one day; when he arrived, they didn’t even write down who he was, and he ended up sleeping there with us. The girl woke up at night to use the bathroom, and all the room keys were left at reception, so anyone could take one and enter a room. If you need anything, there’s no one there to help. We had no internet, no lighter for the stove, and no batteries for the air conditioning. I had to rummage around at reception to find them, and found all the room keys there too. Zero security. Don’t tell me the interior is safe, we’re in the middle of a Loan case.
