Hotel Tucuman

The staff were friendly.

I've been going there for five years, and it was always closed. A travel companion told me it's been shut since the pandemic, March 2020. I was there last in July 2025, and the hotel was still in the same state. It has closed and no longer exists, though I don't know why it hasn't been removed from Google Maps.

It's a very, very modest place. In two of the rooms, the sliding bathroom door leaves a 15 cm gap at both the top and bottom, so there's no bathroom privacy. Some lights and electrical outlets don't work either. I'll never stay at that hotel again.

The only thing going for it is the location. Don't book without knowing what you're getting. Our room was dirty, the bathroom was awkward, with a broken door and a shower over the toilet. There was no knob to turn on the air conditioning, and it was noisy at night, making it hard to rest. They don't provide hand towels or breakfast, and the lack of breakfast wasn't made clear when booking. I don't recommend it at all, not even for one night.
