My top-floor room had a nice view, but getting to it meant using an outdoor staircase. It felt unsafe, especially with the slippery steps and wind, and might not suit someone with knee problems. Booking.com didn’t mention the stairs or the poor road conditions between the property and the city center. I had to cross a major highway without a traffic light, then hurry across uneven pavement, which really concerned me.

The owners at Aonikenk were lovely, spoke English, and helped us a lot with planning activities in Ushuaia. Restaurants and activities were about a 10-minute walk away. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend it.

We’d definitely stay here again. It’s on a quiet street, with restaurants, shops, and the waterfront all an easy walk away. The owners spoke English and were helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions. Our room was clean, and the WiFi worked well.

The common room was a great place to unwind after a day hiking, and the hosts were really friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed and a fabulous view. It’s close to all the amenities of Ushuia while still being quiet. I loved this place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ushuia.
