La Posta Apart

We liked being a bit outside the center, and Uber made getting into town quick and cheap. The WiFi was great, better than at other places we stayed. The hosts were friendly and ready to help. The rooms were clean and laid out well, with a kettle, cooker, pots, and pans, so self-catering was easy. The main bed was large and comfortable. The third bed also serves as a seat for watching TV, but it wasn’t comfortable. A sofa bed would be better, though we don’t watch TV and would simply have liked a comfortable alternative to the main bed. Secure motorcycle parking can be hard to find in the southern parts, and Ushuaia is no exception. They have a gated garden with room for three or four bikes. We left our motorcycles and luggage there for an extra cost while we went to Antarctica, and everything was fine. We’d gladly stay again and recommend it. Thanks for the memories.

We stayed in apartment B and found the bed really comfortable. The kitchen had enough to cook meals with groceries from the tienda down the street, and the staff were super friendly. La Posta is on a quiet street near the airport and outside Ushuaia’s main commercial area. Taxis are easy to flag down, and Uber works here too. At the moment, taxis are crazy cheap. I’d stay again.

After a day of hiking, it was great to come back to a warm, dry, clean room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was a free buffet each morning with bread and cereal. It’s near the airport and about a half-hour walk into the city. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it as a base for exploring the area.

The place was clean, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. It’s very close to the airport, with a nice scenic walk from there to the hostel. The woman at reception was wonderful. She helped me a lot when I was struggling with an airline company, and she was so sweet. Thanks again! I’d recommend staying here 😊
