I came for a peaceful getaway focused on my mental health, and the hotel suited that perfectly. It was quiet, and even the standard room felt spacious and elevated. The grounds are lovely, beach access was nice, and the channel views are unmatched. Susana coast and Mount Susana trails are about a 30-minute walk away. Staff were amazing, and special thanks to the masseuse, whose facial massage skills are a rare find. I also appreciated the little shop with essentials like pads and cigarettes. The massages, grounds, views, and overall feel were better here than at Arakur. Los cauquenes has a heated pool for relaxing, but no cold pool for swimming. I don't really count that as a downside, just something to keep in mind.

We spent four nights in the senior suite and had a lovely time. The manager left a note and a plate of macaroons in the room when we arrived, a really nice touch. The room was spacious and clean, with a private deck and incredible views. Sitting outside or opening the windows to hear the waves was exactly the peaceful sound we needed. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard, though the breads were delicious. We also had lunch and dinner there, and both meals were very good.

The only real drawback is being some distance from downtown, though they do run a shuttle. This is a beautiful hotel right beside the Beagle Channel, and I think all the rooms look out over the water. There are plenty of ways to relax, with a nice pool, hot tubs, spa, and sauna. The food was pretty good, though I suspect you can find better in town.

There are lots of ways to relax here, with beautiful channel and mountain views from every room and public space. The resort is lovely, the location is beautiful, and the staff are very attentive. I wouldn't change a thing, it was perfect. Getting into town means taking the free shuttle or a $5 Uber ride, but the setting just outside town is beautiful. The town itself isn't all that interesting for tourists.

I was surprised to find drinks being heated in a microwave at a hotel that markets itself as five-star. That doesn't meet the standard I'd expect from a luxury stay. A high-quality coffee machine with a proper milk frother should be expected at this level, not treated as an extra. I hope management upgrades this basic service to match the experience promised to guests.
