Oshovia Hostel

I spent nearly two weeks here and it was one of my favorite hostels. The hosts are welcoming and easygoing, and there's a relaxed, homely feel. The place stays spotless, the beds are comfortable, and the facilities are great. The kitchen and living room have lots of space too.

It's a little pricier than some other places in Ushuaia, but I thought it was worth it. The hostel has comfortable beds with curtains, lockers, hot showers, clean bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a decent breakfast. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. I'd stay again.

We spent six nights at Oshovia and had no complaints. The shared four-bed dorm had lockers big enough for our packed travel backpacks, so we didn't need to unpack, and the beds had privacy curtains. Room doors use a PIN code. Bathrooms were cleaned daily and stayed clean, and the showers got hot straight away. The Wi-Fi was probably the best we'd had on the trip. The kitchen could get crowded at busy times, especially around its one faucet, but that's understandable in a popular area. There's a clear labeling system, and everything is explained at check-in. Breakfast came on time and was enough for us, and we could ask for it to be prepared early if we had to leave. Reception can arrange transport to places like the national park and Esmeralda. We especially liked a spot in the shared area with heated flooring, which was super cozy. The hostel is a good 35-minute walk from the center, but that's manageable. I'd highly recommend it.

I loved this place and would come back without hesitation. It's safe and clean, and the staff make you feel very welcome. There are both mixed and private rooms, plus a lovely patio with a grill.
