Ushuaia Flat I

It’s a big, clean place right in the center of town.

The flat is very clean, has a lovely balcony view, and sits close to everything. The downside is the central heating: there’s no way to adjust the temperature in the apartment, and it gets really, really hot. We slept with the windows open and it still didn’t cool down. The sofa bed is also very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Eugenia met us at the door with the key and was incredibly attentive. The service was efficient throughout, and the duplex for four was just like the photos. It’s a nice, modern building with elevator access and a caretaker there each morning, right in the center and close to everything. The beds were comfortable for all four of us, the shower was spectacular, and the place was spotless. They’d also left thoughtful little things like tea, bottled water, and toiletries. Anything people mentioned as a problem before is outdated and has been fixed. I had an excellent stay and recommend it completely.

The location is great, but the stay wasn’t worth the price. The apartment wasn’t clean, there was no shampoo in the bathroom, and the water pressure upstairs was weak. The quality is well below what I’ve found in other rentals at this price. I won’t return, and they still haven’t sent me an invoice for the stay.
