Hotel Florencia

The staff and owner were so friendly. Our room was roomy and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the bathroom was spacious and well laid out. It's just 150 meters from the bus terminal, and close to downtown Carlos Paz.

We had a warm welcome, and the staff were VERY friendly. The place was really well kept, with spotless rooms and new mattresses. Breakfast felt very complete to me: coffee, milk, cocoa powder, drinkable yogurt, tea bags, and stew, plus toast, croissants, cereal, jams, butter, and dulce de leche. The lobby was lovely, with plenty of armchairs, and there's a pool too. The location was excellent, four blocks from the center. More phone charging outlets in the rooms would be a welcome improvement.

I went with a tour company, and we mainly used the hotel to sleep and shower. The bathroom was pretty small and a bit awkward. The food was so-so, and some people at reception were friendlier than others. Just a heads-up, there's no elevator, only stairs.

The staff were amazing, especially Esther, she's a goddess, the best of the best. The beds were comfortable, and both the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. But there are wires taped together all over the room. Breakfast was very limited, just coffee, croissants, and toast, and the food was awful.
