La Villa Inn

We’ve stayed here before and will definitely come back. It’s lovely, clean, and tidy, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everyone treated us with so much kindness and care that we felt right at home the whole time. Thank you, Gonzalo and family, for looking after us so well. Highly recommended.

The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook, and everything was really clean. Gonzalo and his daughter Cami were attentive to everything we needed. The place feels very family-friendly and has a great location and service. The Wi-Fi did drop out, but only for about two minutes at a time, and I could still work on my laptop whenever I needed to. We’ll be back soon 🥰🤗

The mountain views and children's play area were great, but the owner’s constant watching ruined our vacation. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want privacy or a chance to rest. He lives on the property and kept leaning out of a window to give instructions or get our attention. It felt like we were being watched all the time. Once, while we were inside, he climbed onto our private patio to tell us to turn off the outdoor light because he said it was “running out.” The air conditioners were locked to settings he chose, so we couldn’t even adjust the temperature. He also wouldn’t let the kids jump in the pool, saying the water they splashed out lowered the level and he couldn’t afford to refill it. That was hard to accept when he couldn’t even provide a watch battery or replace a burnt-out living room bulb. There were serious practical problems, too. The water wasn’t drinkable, something we only learned on arrival, and we had to buy bottled water from him. The listed Wi-Fi didn’t work well enough even to search Google. To get hot water, we had to turn on the sink faucet to start the water heater. The kitchen utensils were cheap, and the forks bent easily.

Gonzalo and his family were 10/10, and the pool attendant kept the pool in great shape and was very respectful. It was a lovely, quiet place with excellent facilities. We had a great experience, highly recommend it, and will be back.
