I first knew the mansion in the late seventies, when I’d pass by as a young man and find myself looking at it. Over the years, I was lucky enough to visit. It’s a beautiful place, and the service is excellent.

We even got to enjoy coffee and pastries by the pool. Carlos and his family were fantastic, always friendly and attentive to what we needed. The service was top-notch and the stay was wonderful. Our week at the inn is ending, and now it’s time to head home. Couldn’t have been better. Highly recommended!!!

We had a direct lake view from the pool and from the terrace where we ate, and the Cuckoo Clock is very close by. The place is beautiful, with a warm, peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and complete, and the food was fresh. The service was exceptional. Such an unforgettable experience, we’ll be back!!!

The owner was always ready to help and suggest places to visit, and breakfast was good with quite a bit of variety. It’s a rather old house, but it’s clean and has modern comforts. Some new carpets, better lighting, or a facelift would help, though it’s not a deal-breaker. I’d come back.

The lake view was spectacular, and breakfast was delicious, with a table overlooking the water. The pool, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, and soft sheets all made the stay lovely. Everything worked, including the TV, fan, and air conditioning, and cleanliness was superb. From the first call to book until we got in the car to leave, this wonderful family made us feel warmly welcomed. I called many accommodations that summer, but only this one won me over with its service. As one hotelier speaking to another, I’d return without hesitation and recommend it 100%. Thank you for hosting us, Evangelina, Carlos, and Luciano.
