Stefano lll

I can only speak about the unit I rented for a few days in Carlos Paz, number 26, not all of Stefano III, which has 29 units. The complex is near the center but very quiet, and the shared areas were clean enough, with no complaints from me. There’s a grill area, tables and benches for indoor or outdoor use, and a gym, though it stayed closed the whole time we were there. I understand the gym is there, but it wasn’t open to us. The pool is my main criticism: there’s no ladder or grab bars for emergencies, and, as you’d expect, no lifeguard. The building is oddly laid out on a slope. Our rental was on level -2, basically a second basement, though it did get light and air. There seemed to be plenty of parking spaces, but I didn’t check whether there was one per unit. I’ll leave my comments about the rented unit itself for another time. In case I’m not even allowed to post this, the unit was number 26. My advice: FORGET IT, WALK BY!!!

That building is on a slope, which is common in Carlos Paz, so the unusual layout isn’t surprising. I read a complaint that the pool has no bathtub, and that’s true, but it’s a residential building where most people live year-round, not a beach or a club. The gym was also closed, as the reviewer said, because it’s only for year-round tenants or owners. The person who rented to you should have explained that. Next time, take a cruise. Oh, and there’s no bathtub or lifeguard there either. Things happen...

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the pool was practically all ours. Everything was as agreed during our stay in Carlos Paz.

A lovely place and a great apartment, with all the amenities and a quality feel. The location is excellent, and as soon as you arrive it feels like home. We’d definitely come back!
