The property is huge, rustic, isolated, and has a character of its own. There’s a pool and workout area, but mosquitoes were awful the last night or two, and dogs barked for 45 minutes at 4am. The staff and the other travelers were friendly. The owner was cool, but charged me 20% extra for paying by card. This could be a 4.5-star hostel, but it isn’t. It was the most expensive dorm bed I had in South America, and probably the poorest quality. The mattresses and pillows were dirty and offered no support, the dorm WiFi was poor, and 10 am checkout doesn’t work well for travelers.

Friendly people staying there, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The place has a nice vibe, though the WiFi was hit or miss.

It might do if you're on a tight budget and only need a place for one night. The music was very loud into the early hours, with no consideration for people trying to rest, so I wouldn't recommend it if you want peace and quiet or comfort with your family. I also saw employees drinking alcohol at night, which didn't give me a sense of order or professionalism. Early in the morning there were noises in the ceiling, like rats, and it was really disturbing. It's only an option if you have no other choice.

The location is very good, and the breakfast was okay: bread, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, pudding, coffee, and milk. The rooms were so-so. The floor was quite dirty, and the thin curtains didn't fully cover the windows facing a shared patio, so the private rooms didn't offer much privacy. The sheets and towels were very old, the sheets extremely rough, and the towels had holes. Around 8:00 in the morning, loud music from the kitchen and people shouting outside made it hard to sleep. The park is huge and very nice.
