The grounds are beautiful, with trees, plants, thoughtful decor, and a layout that makes you want to wander around with some mate. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the pool was lovely. Norma and Julio were sweet, helpful, and attentive. They gave us lots of ideas for things to do nearby, and since they had availability, they let us check in early so we could leave our things. The full breakfast was a 10 out of 10: unlimited coffee or tea, little books, butter, cheeses and jams, small cornstarch alfajores, toast to make yourself, plus scrambled eggs, a ham and cheese toastie, fresh orange juice, and yogurt with cereal available to add. It’s a bit far from the center of Merlo, but easy to get to by car. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Villa de Merlo!

The photos and earlier reviews are accurate. You should come see for yourself how welcoming the owners, Norma and Julio, are. Whether you get here by taxi or car, you can enjoy the place and its surroundings. Everywhere you look, there are unique details, and the whole space is impeccable.

A beautiful spot to spend time in nature and disconnect. The owners are helpful and attentive, and they make you feel right at home. And the breakfast was amazing!
