Posada Alma del Arroyo & Spa

The staff's warmth really made our stay at Posada Alma del Arroyo special. They made us feel at home, and breakfast was delicious and very complete. The setting is so peaceful, surrounded by nature with the stream just steps away, perfect for switching off. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are made for relaxing, especially the heated pool. Great choice for a getaway as a couple or family. We hope to return soon.

We've stayed here several times and plan to keep coming back. Breakfast is generous, the service has always been excellent, and the rooms and common areas stay spotless. The inn is beautifully equipped, and the landscape around it is lovely. Highly recommended.

The hotel has what you need for a great stay if you don't want to go far, though arriving by car is preferable. It's a little distance from the center, but I was still happy with it. My ground-floor suite had two rooms and could comfortably fit four, with a box spring bed for everyone, two TVs, two air conditioners, table and chairs, dishes, a fridge with freezer, microwave, complimentary tea and coffee, and a coffee maker. It would work especially well for older guests with limited mobility: roomy layout, comfortable bathroom with a separate vanity, grab bars in the shower, no bathtub, and excellent hot and cold water pressure. The grounds are maintained well. There's a grill area that you can reserve ahead at no extra charge, with dishes and condiments provided. The outdoor pools and sun deck are easy to reach in a lovely park, and the indoor pool was just the right temperature for the season. It too is accessible for people with limited mobility. The spa wasn't open. Breakfast was adequate, with bread, cold cuts, assorted jams, yogurt, and freshly squeezed orange juice. You have to ask the staff for the fruit salad. Staff were polite. Families with children are welcome, and they do pay attention to the rules so adult guests aren't disturbed, which seems right.

It felt like staying tucked into a forest, and the heated pool was just right. Everyone was attentive, and there's always someone helpful at reception to make you feel comfortable. The facilities are excellent. Such an unforgettable place to relax and disconnect. Highly recommended.
