The breakfast had plenty of variety, and the guest service was good. Lots of big trees, good facilities, and an excellent location. No complaints!

The rooms, service, and location were all good. I also liked the indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. The problem was that we booked through the website, where the hotel said it accepted credit cards, but when we arrived they switched to cash only. I consider that a scam and bad business practice. As a foreign tourist paying for accommodation with a foreign credit card, you don't have to pay the 21% tax, which is automatically refunded to the card. Beware of this tactic.

The location and breakfast were very good, and the staff were kind and always available whenever we needed help. Our room's A.C. wasn't working during hot weather, so we asked to move. They put us in a suite for our 6 day stay at the same price. The heated indoor pool, gardens, and room terrace were great. There are a few minor maintenance issues, and the shower splashes too much. Just keep in mind there are no elevators.

Augustina and Jose made our stay especially nice, and the breakfast really was Swiss style. As a Swiss couple, staying at the Chalet Suisse felt like a must, and we're glad we did. It had the biggest Kind size bed I've ever slept in, and it was very comfortable. I hope to stay longer next time.

The staff were so nice, and everything was breathtaking. The hospitality made me feel right at home. I highly recommend staying here to relax in the beautiful mountains.
