Aldea de los Pajaros

Beautiful.

The reception staff were excellent, and the cabins are spacious and comfortable. The pools are huge and warm, and it’s only about five minutes from the center. The grass around the pool looked untidy and could be cut more often. Also, two tiles on the jacuzzi steps were broken when we arrived, and it took a few days to get them fixed, which made that area awkward to use. Even so, I’d recommend the place.

The Hornero cabin worked really well for our family of seven when we visited in January. It’s lovely and fully equipped, with roomy bedrooms and big windows facing the mountains, which I especially liked. Sitting outside among the trees and birds, with that view, was a treat. The service was excellent each day, and staff checked whether we needed anything. Breakfast was superb too. We were very happy with the spectacular pool area, especially the shady spots under the trees where my baby could play.

I really liked having a heated outdoor pool, and the location was handy, one block from the bus terminal and near the town center. My family and I spent a week there in January. The complex is very nice. Our cabin was nice too, but the dining area got quite hot in summer and had neither a ceiling fan nor air conditioning. We’d also have liked more breakfast choices, including fruit or yogurt.
